As we said a few days ago, the new version of the 060-EA locomotive is now available. This new package has been upgraded to v1.1 and involves several improvements and bug fixes and a new reskin
Valea Oltului (Râmnicu Vâlcea – Vâlcele – Pitești / Curtea de Argeș) is now available! The DLC has a length of 80 kilometers + the 175 kilometers from Mediaș to Băbeni which are already launched. The extension is available only for those who have already purchased the Olt Valley (Sibiu – Băbeni) plus Olt Valley (Sibiu – Mediaș)
The Râmnicu Vâlcea – Vâlcele – Pitești / Curtea de Argeș section (L219 + L906) represents a route located in the south of Romania that connects 2 important cities, Curtea de Argeș and Pitești. On this route all stations and stops are included in between the three localities: Râmnicu Vâlcea – Vâlcele – Pitești / Curtea de Argeș. Also 2 other turistic routes was recreated (Sibiu-Cisnadie & Lotru-Brezoi). Total route length is about ~300km
Balota – Caransebeş v1.0 is a prototypical route, built by RailStudio team, for TS2021/TS2022, using DEM, Google Maps overlay and hundreds of custom 3D objects. All station buildings along this route have been recreated for the game as well as many other landmarks.
Mainline 900 is one of the oldest lines in Romania, opened in 1878 and 1879, connecting the capital Bucharest with the western city of Timisoara, passing through Craiova, Orşova and Caransebeş. The main stations on the TS2021 route are Caransebeş, Băile Herculane, Orşova, Drobeta Turnu Severin and Balota. The route includes also the industrial line to Halânga Power Plant.

The beginning of the week comes with news from your favorite team! 12 Eacs wagons of 12 loads each (a total of 144 wagons) are ready to be put to work. Types of loads that can be used: Logs, Bricks, Scrap metal, Wood, Tarpaulin, Wheels, Pipes, sleepers, Coal, Coal, Stone, Limestone, Iron Ore.
Three months after the release of M200A Teiuș-Alba Iulia, the route is receiving the so much needed extension up to Cugir. The existing 20 kilometers are joined by some more 37 kilometers, composed by Vințu de Jos, Blandiana, Tărtăria, Balomiru de Câmp, Șibot, Vinerea and Cugir. The route has a more serious approach towards the infrastructure, especially if you compare it with the old one from M200A. Teiuș-Alba Iulia received some attention in regards of bugfixing, scenery, and especially optimization. The latter was the worst issue, but it should be solved to some degree.
The future of the project consists in the continuation towards Deva, but at the same time keeping an eye on the infrastructure of M200A. The price of the route is a symbolic one, which is why the donation button is still there. I’d like to give thanks to everyone which trusted and supported the project. The cheap price is possible to you too, and as gratitude, everyone which donated even one euro shall receive a voucher which grants the route free of charge. Trusting the project shall not remain unrewarded here.
The beginning of the week comes with a relatively “small” surprise from the RailStudio team. We present the 180-horsepower hydraulic diesel locomotive for easy maneuvers (for depots and industrial areas). The pack contains a total of 6 locomotives, interactive cabin and various functionalities (shown in the images).
We are slowly approaching the end of the week … what does that mean? Of course, a consistent update from your favorite team, so we have something to play with on the weekend! So far we have been playing with passenger and freight trains, but I think we all forgot about those special trains, namely the work trains. Increase in play and scenarios! 🙌
M200A Teiuș-Alba Iulia is a route which had a lot to gain from the recent modernization of the line which occurred thanks to the founding of the 4th Pan-European Corridor.
This modernization meant the implementation of the TMV signaling, the modern catenary and the new high speed lines.
M200A Teiuș-Alba Iulia contains:
-Aprox. 20 electrified kilometers.
-6 stations, each one of them special in its way. Teiuș-Coșlariu-Sântimbru Hm-Sântimbru-Bărăbanț-Alba Iulia. The buildings of the stations from Coșlariu, Sântimbru and Bărăbanț are not the real ones for the time being. We’ve used provisional and very similar available buildings which have the real panels.
-Characteristic aspects of the route: highway bridges over the railway, the Mureș river, Alba Carolina Citadel (its interior wasn’t reproduced entirely perfect due to performance reasons), various industries, realistic and standardized vegetation.
-DEM and Google Maps Overlay support used together with backviews, cabviews and rearviews, which highly contributed to offering a realistic landscape and feel.
-The disaffected sorting railway station from Coșlariu. It’s worth mentioning that the depot from Teiuș, thanks to the way it’s functioning in real life, can not truly serve in a traditional way for scenario-making, thus, at least for now, being disaffected in the game.
-3 standard scenarios; R 2038 (inspired from the trailer; it’s a traditional Regio scenario), IR 1835 (a simple night scenario), CFR Marfă în sprijinul CFR Călători (CFR Freight in support of CFR Passengers) – this one serves as a more complex scenario. All three of them have English support. There are also 2 basic quick drive scenarios.
The 26-26 series double-decker wagons are second-class wagons, intended for regional and suburban trains. They were built in the early 1980s by VEB Waggonbau Goerlitz in the German Democratic Republic.
The package contains 10 wagons numbered as follows: 003, 032, 064, 088, 089, 092, 128, 186, 206, 208.
