The Faurei Railway Testing Center was built in 1978, and it underwent an extensive modernization program between 2003 and 2008, by accessing European funds. Currently there is the possibility to perform dynamic tests of railway vehicles with a maximum speed of 200 km/h.
- Long ring length: 13.7 km – max speed: 200 km/h
- Short ring length: 2.2 km – max speed: 60 km/h
- Winding test line: curves and counter-curves of variable radiuses, with the smallest radius of 135 m, and the largest radius of 250 m, on a length of 765 m
